Skinners’ School Tunbridge Wells Fundraising Dinner

Parents, local supporters, old boys, staff and trustees of Skinners’ School in Tunbridge Wells came together for an exceptional night at the renowned Skinners’ Hall, London for a gala dinner to raise funds for the Space for All project, which will see a complete rebuild of the Old Gym in order to create 21st century facilities for current and future pupils.

The development will include a new Sixth Form study centre, new classrooms to house the English department and a new school library.

Edward Wesson, headteacher at Skinners’ School, commented: “It will cost £4.3 million to complete phase two of our Space for All project and we are delighted that Kent County Council are generously supporting this project, given that since 2010 there has been exceptional austerity in education funding. This funding, alongside private supporter donations to date, has raised more than £3.8 million of our target. The gala fundraising dinner raised over £33,000 and we are confident that there will be further sponsorship and donations as a result of this very entertaining and successful evening.”
