Future of Dreamland is Positive

Following uncertainty surrounding its future, Sands Heritage Limited, trading as Dreamland Margate, successfully exited administration. This has been followed by a corporate reorganisation that the company said would put the business in a strong position for the future.

As it explained, the recent £25 million investment has seen the first phase of redevelopment, which has enabled the complete re-landscaping of the park, the continued restoration of Dreamland’s vintage rides, the introduction of a contemporary street food offer and eclectic bars. This sits alongside the delivery of three new businesses to Margate seafront including Cinque Ports pub and restaurant, Ziggy’s rooftop bar and the Quarterdeck brewhouse.

The phased expansion planned for Dreamland includes the addition of more rides in 2018 to cater for families and thrill-seekers alike, and will see the events programme grow exponentially throughout the year.
