Production Editor

Initially 3 days per week.
Areas of responsibility:
Index website – Up-dating the newly commissioned Index magazine site (to be launched in November 2010) on a regular basis, including some writing, editing pictures, designing and uploading advertisments etc via a content management system.
Planning Your Wedding website – As above.
Index magazine and other paper publications – Working with the Editor on organising, writing and subbing copy, working in the Design and Production department on editorial and advert design and though the production process.
Software skills required: QuarkXPress; InDesign; PhotoShop; Acrobat Professional; Word Excel
